Level One
(Blue and White Uniform)
DESCRIPTION: Gaining an understanding, cooperative spirit.
DORM GOALS:    Cooperation with students, family, staff and authority.
SCHOOL GOALS: Learning the Alpha Omega  system.
   
Level One Privileges and Limitations:
1.       Minimum time on this level is 45days.
2.       Maximum time on this level is dependant on student behavior.   There is no maximum limit.
3.       Phone calls from parents three times a month.
4.       All visits are town visits, in the city of Richmond, unless prior arrangements have been made according to the Visit Schedule.
5.       No home visits are allowed at all.  Overnight visits may be allowed in a local hotel for level 1B & 1A only (NO Super no’s are allowed overnight visits).
6.       This is a time to begin dealing with problems.
7.       Counseling available when resident is willing.  Placement in counseling groups.
8.        Student should show some response to God.
9.        Student will still be working on the areas of disrespect and rebellion.
10.   May go on short choir trips with permission.
11.   Must sit in designated section in church.
12.   Any medical appointments or court dates-NO overnight stay at home is allowed.
13.   On chart system.
14.   Uniform is white shirts and navy blue pants or jumpers for girls.
15.   No jewelry of any kind.
16.   No make-up.
17.   No hats for boys.
18.   No money kept on self.

***Letter next to the level determines progress with that level.  "C" is a probation period, "B" is stable, and "A" is well on the way to the next level.

Note:  Those talking about, attempting to, or actually running away will be put on entry.  Anyone caught smoking, in possession or using drugs or alcohol, will be put on level 1C.  Physically hurting someone or oneself will be grounds for being moved to level 1C, subject to staff decision.
