New Creations Boarding School is the heart of New Creations ministries. Students from all over the world are housed in dormitories on New Creations Campus. Full-time live-in and part-time staff works with the students counseling, helping with homework, teaching responsibility and disciplining them in the word of God.
New Creations Boarding School has been serving teens from the ages of 12-23 for 40 years. We assist teens transitioning from a general state of rebellion to young adulthood. Our mission is to foster the building of Champions in Christ by impacting them with the Word of God in love and discipleship. We do so in a loving yet disciplined and structured environment. Our approach, while maybe not conventional, is based on relationship. As we work with teens, we keep in mind that the human race is heavily dependent on relationships for a healthy balanced emotional life, thus the true statement “rules without relationship bring rebellion.”
Almost without exception when a new student arrives they are not happy. It is at this point that they begin to get the idea that life will not be as they have known it. They abide by a daily schedule that does not include video games and television. Additionally they, of course, are separated from the associations or friendships that generally assisted in the behaviors that resulted in their placement. This beginning is what we consider the student to have come under the “law”. But we keep in mind that the law was written to expose harmful behaviors (sin) but has no power in itself to live out what it requires.
It is here where a student gradually begins to feel safe in this new restricted environment, and then we are able to begin a relationship and daily help them to see that the rules will help them survive and succeed in life. As the relationship grows, we strive to teach a biblical worldview of moral and ethical standards that feed the spirit, soul, and body. This behavior is expected to be lived out daily by all the staff so as not to be hypocritical, and we encourage staff to be transparent in their daily lives so the student knows that adults have problems too. As the student’s behavior changes, they are able to take responsibility for their actions even when the action is inappropriate.
New Creations desires the family relationship be restored. As the student progresses they are able to deal with their past and begin new behaviors which grows the desire to have a relationship with their families. We have seen literally thousands of teens succeed in life due to attending this program.
We Cater To
Parents who want to place their student in a Christ-centered program or parents who want their student in a boarding school for Christian training and education. This program can be for one or more school terms. The purpose of this program is to continue the parents’ Christian values.
Parents who are having trouble with their child: rebellion, abuse, education, troubled, and juvenile offenders. This program is a minimum of 15 months. The purpose of this program is to restore the family in a Christ-centered manner.
Three Main Goals
- Bring each student to personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Reunite and restore each student with their family.
- Take each student as far as they can go academically and spiritually.
Counseling
Our dorm ministers are trained to counsel in appointment settings and spontaneously. In residential care, the most effective counseling is done during daily activities, as an incident happens, or as the result of a child’s comment. In an appointment setting, the counselee puts up walls and defenses and has time to rehearse responses and reactions. We try to avoid these hindrances. Therefore, we rarely, let the child know he/she is being counseled. Christ-centered counseling is our structure.

Accreditation
As of March 2011 New Creations is a dually accredited organization. New Creations school was accredited by the International Christian Accrediting Association (ICAA) in 1987 and will continue to hold this accreditation. In March 2011 New Creations attained North Central Accreditation (NCA) status according to the following statement:
“New Creations Christian School having met the requirements established by the Advanced ED Accreditation Commission and Board of Trustees is hereby accredited by the North Central Association Commission on Accreditation and School Improvement.”
This certainly allows for academic credits attained at New Creations to be accepted throughout the United States and abroad and makes a powerful statement for the school and its operations.
Finances
It is our desire that money is never an issue, but that is not realistic. Along with registration fees, there is a $2,500.00* monthly support cost. If this is not affordable by parents, loans may be available through different lending agencies. New Creations depends on tuition and donations. It does not depend on state or federal monetary support.
*All finances are subject to change. Monthly time payments are based on parents income and availability of New Creations funds.
