The Christmas season is over and the resolutions we’ve made are either in full swing or have fallen by the wayside. Life keeps moving no matter the season. In these seasons are many joys but also disappointments that can feel crippling. Falling short of our goals can make you want to give up. Every year the students all go home for Christmas. Many face joys of relationships being rebuilt and new self controls put into motion. But also, many fall short of their own goals and the goals of others for them.
How do we keep moving forward when it seems we do so many things that take us backwards? Is the impossible possible in my own behaviors? This is a battle faced every day. I believe that if the Word says ALL things are possible, this area is included. But do I believe it? Do I operate in this belief? Do I trust that the power of God can change me from glory to glory? I say we have to get our believer in line and walk according to what God says, not what the enemy tries to get me to believe … even when it is my own behavior! God is still in the changing business!
